Queen Nefertiti: Queen of Scarabs

Neferneferuaten Nefertiti’s name means “the beautiful woman has come.” Her many titles include “Hereditary Princess,” “Great of Praises,” “Great King’s Wife,” “Lady of All Women,” and “Mistress of Upper and Lower Egypt,” among others. She brought stability to Egypt during a time of religious and cultural upheaval, when her husband, Akhenaten, outlawed the old religions and tried to force the kingdom to observe his monotheistic Aten-based faith.
