The Pitati were ancient Egyptian archers. They were often dispatched to support vassals in foreign lands and to take out rebels, raiders, and outlaws throughout the kingdom. A fierce force of royal mercenaries, the Pitati were respected by the pharaoh’s allies and feared by his enemies.
