Two of Scarabs

The Two of Scarabs depicts a man standing on the shore as the river rages in a storm behind him. He juggles two golden scarabs surrounded by an ouroboros serpent. Two boats in the background ride the choppy waters of the river, being tossed about, in a demonstration of the forces of nature being unleased against the man. The juggler, however, concentrates on the task at hand, paying no attention to the many distractions around him.

The main theme of the Two of Scarabs card is balance: setting priorities, ups-and-downs, and showing flexibility; even when the world around you is thrown into chaos.
