Five of Scarabs

The Five of Scarabs features two indigent people walking through a dangerous sandstorm. The man needs the aid of a staff to walk, the woman has only a thin layer of clothing protecting her from the biting wind-driven sands. They walk right past a temple with five golden scarabs carved above the doorway, seemingly oblivious to the warm and welcoming glow of the entrance.

The main theme of the Five of Scarabs is struggle. The struggle may take the form of financial hardship, poverty, and adversity.
