Khonsu: The Moon

The moon-god Khonsu’s name means “traveler.” His titles include “Defender,” “Pathfinder,” and “He Who Embraces.” He was instrumental in the creation and maintenance of life, and with Tehuti, Khonsu marks the passage of time. It is he who lights the night sky, and protects travelers on their nighttime journeys.
